Maggie O´Farrell- story from her memoir (TUESDAY and THURSDAY groups)

Listen (again) to the story from Maggie O´Farrell´s memoir : I am, I am, I am- seventeen brushes with death . 
Take some notes and tell us the story with as many details as possible in the class we have in 2 weeks from today. For the TUESDAY  group: for next week's class. (only the first story: Neck , 1990, it takes about half an hour to listen- you can stop the audio, repeat where you don´t understand, take notes. You can also make a list of words or expressions you didn't understand/ know. The audio is taken from the audiobook)

New Year´s Resolutions for the digital era (THURSDAY group)

Have a look at some New Year´s Resolutions for the digital era!  

Who do you think makes this kind of resolutions?
- regular people of today
